At Alpine Access University, we believe that the most important aspect of software is user experience — an aspect in which most enterprise software is sorely lacking.

To deliver a superior user experience, the core of our training and recruiting software is entirely custom. We develop our software using Scrum (an agile software development methodology) allowing us to release new features in weeks rather than months. We use Test Driven Development so that we can be confident that the software we produce is high quality — a buggy user experience is a bad user experience!

We use the flexible and powerful Python web framework Django, which maximizes our ability to create interesting features and minimizes developer overhead. We deploy our software on Amazon Web Services, which enables us to scale quickly and experiment easily.

We use many third-party solutions, as we believe there's no point in reinventing the wheel. However, we seamlessly integrate with these solutions to be as minimally disruptive to the user as possible.
